This half term, year 6 have been learning about evolution and inheritance and how species and their adaptations can change over time and suit their environment. Whilst discussing Vitruvius’ theory that all humans have the same height as arm span, the children investigated this further, measuring each other’s height and arm span and debating whether his theory was correct. They made a human graph to visualise their peers’ heights.
