In D&T, year 6 have been designing and creating their own animal stuffed toys, using three different sewing techniques and stitches; blanket stitch, running stitch and back stitch. In addition, they have added features such as buttons. The children have enjoyed learning a wonderful life skill whilst exploring design features that match their own interests.
