Year 6 have been exploring the vibrant Hindu festival of Holi, learning how it celebrates the arrival of spring, the triumph of good over evil, and the joy of community. They discovered that Holi is known as the Festival of Colours, a time when people throw brightly coloured powders, share sweets, and join in lively dancing. Inspired by these traditions, the children created beautiful artwork bursting with bold colours and expressive patterns to capture the festival’s energy. We also listened to Bollywood classics, which filled the classroom with excitement and helped everyone fully enjoy the celebration.
