For World Book Day this year, Year 6 had fun and creative time, writing their own songs and performing them. Inspired by MC Grammar, each group wrote a rap song describing all of the reasons why reading is important and even gave a nod to their favourite authors and fictional stories. In the afternoon, Year 6 joined Year 2 for some partnered reading, sharing ideas, expression and storytelling.
