Last week the children went on a history trip to Tamworth castle. They had an opportunity to explore the castle’s towers, walls, battlements, dungeon and the inside of the castle. They also an interactive session on laying the table for the lord and lady of the house, tried on medieval armour and clothes before learning about squires training and weapons. The children thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The children thoroughly enjoyed the trip, whilst demonstrating their understanding of castles and were able to recount the entire event.
