As part of our History unit studying The Victorians, and linking to our class text Oliver Twist, the children attended Victorian School for the day. They had to pay a penny to attend, got the chance to select a Victorian name for the day and sampled a bowl of gruel for their snack. The girls took part in some sewing while the boys did technical drawing.
