This half term, in Science, we have been exploring Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution and how, according to this theory, all living things change over a long period of time, to adapt to their ever changing environment. We discovered that the adaptive traits/characteristics that help that organism to survive in their enviorment, would then be passed down to their offspring. We started our lesson off by reading ‘The Molliebird’ and then had lots of fun creating new Mr Men and Little Miss characters to further understand that half of our DNA comes from our mother and half comes from our father. ‘
