Meeting Structure 2016/17
Our meetings are going to be vital to the success of the PTA and our fundraising activities, that’s why its important for a meeting structure to be agreed.
Each meeting will have an agenda which will be communicated to the committee prior to each meeting where committee members can add items if required. Meetings will be chaired by the Chair of Vice Chair. Detailed minutes will be taken to ensure actionable tasks are communicated, and all the committee and those unable to attend the meetings in person are aware of the work that needs to be completed. This approach we hope keeps everyone in the loop and that they feel involved in the process so ownership is taken of the PTA fundraising activities.
Our next AGM is Wednesday 29th March 19:30-20:30 in the school hall
There will be lots of activities based meetings taking place throughout the year for small groups who are working on those activities.

Activities Calendar 2016/17
We’ve got a fun packed schedule for our pupils and their families this academic year. We have got some old, some new, some borrowed (supporting our local community events) and some blue sky thinking fundraising activities.
Below is a high level overview of the proposed activities for the academic year. This list isn’t exhaustive, new activities can be added as the ideas are generated by the wider committee, school council and pupils and their families.
A detailed proposal will be created for each activity with input from the academy and the PTA committee

AUTUMN TERM | HALLOWEEN DISCO’S
Revamp(ire) the current format to increase the money raised at both events… New – Halloween themed face paint, glitter tattoo’s stations (parents can pre pay or give children money to spend). MATCH FUNDING SCHEMES
Many companies throughout the UK offer employees the chance to boost their fundraising efforts by ‘matching’ the money they raise. It really is money for nothing, and our PTA could double the amount of cash it raises with very little effort.
A parent can raise funds or give time to an PTA activity and your company will either match the funds raised pound for pound, or will donate to a set limit. Please check with your HR department about their Match Funding Scheme policy, so that we can explore these fund raising opportunities. |

BAG2SCHOOL
